Account Deletion Request

This page explains how students can request deletion of their Ciao Student Portal account and associated personal data.

If you are a registered student of Ciao Italian Class and want to delete your Student Portal account, you can request account deletion by contacting us through WhatsApp or email.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, please contact us using one of the following methods:

Please include your full name, student number, registered email address, and WhatsApp number so we can verify your identity before processing the request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

After verification, we may delete or deactivate the following account-related data:

  • Student portal login account
  • Profile information such as name, email, phone number, profile photo, and student details
  • Passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender, and tax code if stored
  • Login and device access records linked to the student account

Data We May Need to Keep

Some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate educational, legal, administrative, certificate verification, payment, or record-keeping purposes.

This may include issued certificate records, official student letters, payment records, or records required to verify previously issued documents.

How Long Deletion Takes

Once your request is verified, we aim to process account deletion or deactivation within 30 days.

Important: Once your account is deleted or deactivated, you may lose access to your student dashboard, class videos, certificates, and student letters.
